Business is booming!

We have had to put our Ice Cream Parlour on hold for a while until we build up enough supplies. In the meantime we have opened a restaurant. To say the students are loving it is an understatement. They have adapted to different roles within the restaurant; whether it be a waiter/waitress, cook, or cashier. The restaurant got so much more interesting when Mrs. Kidd introduced money. Not only are they strengthening their oral language skills, they starting to sound out individual words so that they can write out an order. Here are some awesome pictures of the restaurant:
Carter is using the word wall Mrs. Kidd helped create with the students
Ryan is writing Mrs. Nicholls' order: tea
 Dayna is cooking the food
 Katelynn's taking orders!
 Our front line staff!
"That will be $6.00 please" ~Alex
The amazing orders taken, and written by our class!

Check out this video where Alex takes Mrs. Kidd's order and sounds out the word 'apple'
